About AirDAO

When CEO Lang Mei assumed his role in leading the Ambrosus Ecosystem at the beginning of March, he did so with a vision for what it could become. Lang saw value in the team, the technology, and the community that demonstrated immense growth potential. At the same time, however, he recognized that the limited scope of what Ambrosus was pursuing prevented that potential from being realized. So, he developed a plan.

This strategy, referred to as Ambrosus 3.0, laid the foundation for goals, changes, and achievements that refocused and reinvigorated the project.

With Lang as CEO, Ambrosus has expanded its team considerably, onboarding skilled individuals for new roles in marketing, finance, content creation, branding, web design, and community management.

Ambrosus has also strengthened its relationship with Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, working with them closely for several AMB-focused promotions and even closing a $200,000 OTC deal with them in June.

And, perhaps most importantly, Ambrosus has redoubled its commitment to its supporters. It is providing increased transparency via weekly Town Hall meetings and building a series of regional community groups, Ambrosus Turkiye being the first and with additional areas currently in the pipeline.

However, while all of these developments have been critical to the evolution of Ambrosus as a project, even they have become parts of a greater vision.

Over time and after much consideration, that vision became known as AirDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that would govern the Ambrosus blockchain and its network of dApps while itself being governed by the community. Furthermore, AirDAO would allow Ambrosus supporters to not only shape the direction and decisions of the AirDAO ecosystem, but to be rewarded for doing so.

Meanwhile, AirDAO would also focus on building products that stripped the complexity from Web3, delivering its benefits simply to any user through a single interface. Over the past several months, dozens of people have worked tirelessly to execute this vision, and those efforts have led us to today.

Today, 15 September, we are excited to share that AirDAO has officially arrived. The official AirDAO website, the integrated product dashboard, the multichain bridge, and the block explorer are now live, complete with new branding and social media channels.

Moreover, our ecosystem partner Firepot Finance’s decentralized exchange FirepotSwap is also live, marking the first-ever native dApp in the AirDAO ecosystem.

And this is just the beginning. AirDAO will continue to build out its suite of products with a specific focus on a native AMB wallet, stablecoin solution, and DAO tools enabling new AirDAO partners to launch their own subDAOs via tiered multisig technology.

Once investor fundraising rounds have concluded, we will also be hardcoding a max supply for AMB. The funds raised will be used to incentivize ecosystem development, onboard quality projects from other networks, and create new ways for the AirDAO community to participate, earn, and be rewarded for their contributions.
